Being Present In the World

July 30th, 2024 and August 4th 2024

I visited Wildwood twice this summer, and on both adventures I took outstanding pictures capturing meaningful moments in life.

The first time I went, my friend Elizabeth and I arrived at 7:30am. We started on the walking path, then we adventured to other trails that led us closer to wildlife. We ran into a goose on one of the paths and, to avoid getting eaten, we had to turn back to the main path. We saw beautiful statues along the path and spent a lot of our morning in the trees.

The second time I went alone to take pictures with my camera. I focused on being with nature and surrounding myself with good intentions. I took time to speak with God and towards the end of my walk I was able to approach a butterfly and have it land on my hand. The moments I spend alone are very important to me because knowing myself is what helps me be who I am.
